CommX is an ActiveX control that simplifies three different aspects of working with serial ports under Win32 while at the same Time giving you robust, trusted, proven capability and reliability.
- Serial port: Any number, performance to 921.6 Kbps when using a 16750 or higher type UART.
- File Transfer: ASCII, TTY, and ZModem With many features and options.
- Terminal: ANSI BBS or TTY emulation With many options and features.

- Compatible With a great many compilers and versions of Windows. Examples are Visual Studio 5,6, 7.1, and 8 (all languages supported). Large numbers of developers are using CommX With Visual Basic. The product includes examples and tutorials to get even the least experienced programmer started.
